Position:	INTEGRATION ADVISOR - Temporary 6 month contract

Union/Management:	Part Time Temporary Unionized - 4 days a week

Salary:	$44,393 to $52, 156 per annum (to be pro-rated at 4 days per week)

Location:	700 Industrial Avenue, Suite 600, Ottawa

Qualifications:	Minimum three years working with children with special needs. Minimum five years experience in child care programs. Previous experience consulting with staff in licensed child care programs Previous experience assessing the needs of a variety of licensed child care settings Early Childhood Education or other relevant post secondary education training Demonstrated sensitivity in supporting families/child care programs Use of a car is essential Knowledge of Word for windows Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English ECRT Certificate an asset

Duties:	Work closely with community child care programs and families in meeting the challenges of integrating children with special needs. Advising and consulting with child care program staff, families and the staff of community agencies to develop appropriate team service plans. Identifying and reviewing the developmental and behavioural needs of children assigned to caseload Conducting environmental Assessments for child care programs to support staff Identifies, develops, provides and evaluates training Facilitates and supports the inclusion of children with special needs in licensed child care settings.

Hours of Work:	28 hours per week
