Kindergarten & School Age Program
at Riverview Alternative School

In addition to our School Age Program at Riverview Alternative School, located in the Alta Vista area of the city, we offer a linked Kindergarten/early learning and care experience. This partnership provides a truly seamless collaboration between childcare and school. In the kindergarten class, a school board teacher teaches Kindergarten in the morning, and two early childhood educators provide a complimentary program to the remainder of the day. The School Age Program offers before and after school care for 30 children 6-12 years of age. The program is open to children attending Riverview Alternative.

Kindergarten & School Age Program at Stittsville Public School

Our Stittsville Program, which opened in September of 2006, is a welcome addition to the range of children’s services that Andrew Fleck Child Care Services offers. Our kindergarten program has 20 spaces for children attending junior and senior kindergarten and our school age program has 30 spaces offering care to children 6-11 years of age.

The Stittsville program is adjacent to the new Stittsville Public School and is open to children who attend Stittsville Public School.

Kindergarten Program at 195 George Street

With the Introduction of the Provincial Full Day Learning Program, changes have been made to our Kindergarten Program.

At 195 George Street in the Byward Market, care is provided for Senior Kindergarten age children who attend half-day pm kindergarten at one of the nearby schools including Rockcliffe Park, Lady Evelyn and Viscount Alexander.

A full day program at the Child Care Centre will now be provided for our 4 year old children.
